This weekend is the 82nd edition of the Charleston Yacht Club Open Regatta. We are excited to be co-hosting a Team Race Clinic and Fun Challenge Friday evening with local sailing hotshots from The Charleston Yacht Club.

Gather your friends from your club and come learn how all of the ‘cool kids’ are racing. Each Club in town can bring a team, if there are enough participants from the club multiple teams may be fielded. ex.(ChYC Team 1, ChYC Team 2) We would love to see teams from ChYC, JIYC, CYC, HYC, CCS, CofCYC and any out of town clubs that would like to join.

The clinic will take place from 5-6 at ChYC. Teams will then launch 420 boats from CCS and race from 6-8. This event will help to improve your rules knowledge as participants will help umpire the event on the water. There will also be on the water coaching.

The cost of this event is free if you are racing in the ChYC Open Regatta. If you are not racing then the cost is $10. Racing is open to all ages!
