Youth Big Boat
An after school sailing program that is open to ALL who want to learn the fundamentals of sailing on a fixed keelboat. Lessons will be aboard a J24 which is the most popular one-design sailing vessel in the world. We follow US Sailing curriculum and our instructors are nationally certified. 13 & UP

Girls on the Water
This program is designed to give high school aged girls the opportunity to experience sailing in both a racing and non-racing capacity. Whether you used to sail, are currently sailing, or just think it looks cool – NOW IS THE TIME! Build your sailing knowledge and lets empower females to get on the water. Be sure to be prepared with the proper attire, closed toed shoes, sun protection, and a water bottle. Must be able to swim unaided without a PFD.

Open High School Race Day
This Race Team is designed for intermediate sailors to train with our Executive Director, Jessica Koenig and Head Coach Will Scarborough for seven weeks at our sailing center. This is not a learn to sail program, intermediate sailing experience is required and you will learn about boat handling, race strategy, starting, rules & so much more. Every great athlete knows that is takes dedication to perform at one’s best! We ask that you register with a chosen partner/boat mate and indicate who your partner will be for this class in the comment section. If no chosen partner, you will be paired with another participant, but please indicate skipper or crew.

Advanced High School Race Day
This Race Team is designed for experienced sailors to train with our most advanced instructors for weeks at our sailing center. This class will be coached by Reed Baldridge who grew up in Houston, TX sailing Optimists and Lasers and then graduated from the College of Charleston in 2016. As a varsity dinghy team sailor and college match race national champion, he became a Youth America’s Cup tactician and currently sails professionally and is personally #loyaltothefoil now located in Charleston. Intermediate racing experience is required. Every great athlete knows that is takes dedication to perform at one’s best! We ask that you register with a chosen partner/boat mate and indicate who your partner will be for this class in the comment section. If no chosen partner, you will be paired with another participant, but please indicate skipper or crew.
Session: Fridays September 18-October 30 from 4:15-6:15PM
Amidst the COVID-19 pandemic, we are constantly evaluating options for our programs. We understand our programs provide great experiences and memories for our participants, and much needed child-care for their families. Ultimately, our decisions to operate, delay, modify or cancel programs will be based on guidance from the CDC and other government health officials, as well as our commitment to ensuring we can provide a high quality, safe experience for your children.
